MANHUNT 2 (censored version)

Rockstar's most controversial title.

Story (spoiler free)

Daniel Lamb is a patient from the Dixmor Asylum, which houses psychopaths. After a storm knocks out its electricity, he escapes and meets up with a fellow patient named Leo Kasper. The pair then must fight their way to uncover the truth behind "The Project", a clandestine scientific experiment.

Gameplay

Manhunt 2, similar to its predecessor is a stealth game. Daniel must hide in dark areas and kill enemies without being seen. He uses an array of weapons, ranging from a syringe to gardening shears. In addition to that, some levels also allow the player to use firearms such as a pistol, a submachine gun, and an assault rifle. When killing enemies, the player has
the option to intensify the way they do it. Divided into three levels, hasty, violent, and gruesome.

Hasty- Immediately tapping the execute button triggers this. It is marked by a white reticle
Violent- Press the execute button for two seconds. It is marked by a yellow reticle
Gruesome- Press the execute button for three seconds. It is marked by a red reticle (this is the most violent way of execution)

On the other hand, the player can kill enemies from an elevated position, or use the environment to kill opponents. (E.g. choking them using a telephone cord, smashing their head against a circuit breaker)

Sound

Manhunt 2 is already scary, and it gets spookier due to its ambient sound, reminiscent of a horror film. The dialogue can be, a bit cringy. However, Daniel Lamb's voice actor provides a decent amount of performance.

The Verdict

Manhunt 2 is quite entertaining, albeit tainted by extreme violence. it has a decent story and a little bit of over-the-top gameplay. A fair warning: anyone below 18 cannot play this game!

GTA VICE CITY STORIES

Our first game is memorable among PSP fans.  Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories (VCS) serves as the prequel for GTA Vice City. Coincidentally, it is the very first title of the series in chronological order. This means before Vice City and San Andreas, we first had Vice city stories. STORY VCS revolves around Victor "Vic" Vance, a soldier who is removed from the army after working with Sergeant Jerry Martinez, a senior who is involved in illegal drugs. Forced to survive in Vice City as a civilian, Vic is entangled in the life of crime as he builds his own gang. Its main themes involve revenge and betrayal that you will get from the supporting characters. VCS focuses on Vic's gradual rise in the world of organized crime.  GAMEPLAY VCS can be quite addictive. It has 59 storyline missions filled with other side quests such as chasing criminals in a police car, saving lives while driving an ambulance, gang wars, and many more. Perhaps VCS is well-reviewed due to its empire ta...

An introduction

Hello and welcome to my blog! It has been 15 years since the PSP has been released. That is why I made this blog to review popular games that graced the handheld device that almost everyone loves. Stay tuned for my game reviews!

Call of Duty: Roads to victory

FPS action for the PSP. The PSP's catalog of first-person shooter games tends to be perceived by many as mediocre, due to hardware limitations and difficulties in maneuvering the playable character using an analog stick and a set of buttons. However, Call of Duty Roads to Victory proves to be a worthy title. What I liked about the game     Call of Duty Roads to Victory  offers a quite entertaining approach to world war two shooters at the tip of your fingertips. The story revolves around the gradual push of allied forces to Germany during the Second World War. It is divided into three campaigns: American, Canadian, and British.   Of course the villains are the bad ol' Nazis. You get to control soldiers from the paratrooper units of the US Army. Canadian armed forces, and the action-packed 6th airborne division of the United Kingdom. There is even a mission where you get to control an aircrewman to destroy Nazi aircraft in a B-24! Story-wise,  Roads to Victo...
